The Sea of Life...


A quiet gloom has gripped this country
Family the basic unit is under threat
Young work force withering away
Seniors with disturbed old age
Mothers and sisters distraught
Children having to play at courts and chowkies
Men living like toy soldiers, helpless and torn

Is this the India we had imagined when free
Is this the life we had set out for?
Is this fair that innocence should suffer
Is this what they say ... stuck between a rock and hard place!

Do we act now or let our children take the blows
Is it Now or Never?, is it going to be you and me or None?

People .. We're in the same boat On the same sea
No one is immune to this injustice
Its me today.... god forbid... but its gonna be everyone tomorrow

Can't be stuck like this for ever, can we?
Lets move whatever is in our power, can we?
Lets do what we ought to do ... stand up for our rights
Its got to be me, you and everyone alive!
Alive... is a good stage to be... stay alive
Lest we be called corpses which lived a low-life
The one's who passed the bucked to us children
They did give us birth, but they were selfish
They didn't care for us, all they wanted was to live
Live a life of false dreams and egos

Lets not let this happen, lets not wilt away in silence
Lets pick up the tab, and pay it NOW, and HERE.

For we're in the same boat On the same sea
And we ought not to be
...... stuck between a ROCK and a HARD PLACE
..... never ever ..... Agnipath ... Agnipath ... Agnipath!
.... path of fire which leads to some happy place
