Regarding the bogus survey, by "Thomson Reuters Foundation", on world's most dangerous countries for women: http://poll2018.trust.org/http://poll2018.trust.org
This is an opinion/perception poll. Meaning; what 548 "experts" (the demographics of whom they haven't shared even after repeated queries) thought!.
This is as bogus as surveys can ever get, even India's women and child development ministry has condemned this attempt in denigrating India at the behest of vested interests!

Nowhere they have mentioned that this is a poll of perceptions.
Thomson Reuters have not given me the demographics of the respondents too, even after repeated email requests(screen shot links further below) .
Here's the screenshot of Thomson Reuters foundation website, where they haven't made it clear that the poll of perceptions /opinions and not a result of data analysis.

Statement in response to individual queries about the results of the Poll
Thank you for your interest in our annual perception poll. As we have clearly stated from the outset, it is a survey entirely based on expert opinion. Official data is often unavailable - or out of date - on women-related issues in many countries. Perception polls are not meant to replace official data, but to complement this data with a snapshot of a situation at a given time – in this case March and April 2018. Experts who know the situation on the ground can offer valuable insight that such data doesn’t always show.
All respondents work in the field of women’s issues – a range of aid and development professionals, academics, health workers, policymakers, non-government organisation workers, journalists and social commentators. The list was compiled from a database of women’s rights experts built by the Thomson Reuters Foundation team.
We did not weight careers. All experts were given an assurance that their answers would be confidential to allow total honesty.
In total 759 experts accessed the survey between March 26 and May 4. The findings are based on 548 full responses to the seven questions. We did not use partial responses. The number of respondents who consider themselves experts on India was 101. Of those, 53 live in India.
Our methodology is available on our poll website. We cannot release the raw data, as the formula used to determine the final score of each country is proprietary. The methodology, ranking and results was produced in collaboration by third party experts Thomson Reuters Labs. The Thomson Reuters Foundation is a separate legal entity from Thomson Reuters, and independent.

They have just done a qualitative/subjective analysis of perceptions of the respondents(who they claim to be experts find out from their own sources, but they aren't ready to share even the demographics of these experts!, obviously they have a lot to hide!) , as to which counties they "think" is worse(ranking of the 5 worst countries) which they "perceive" as bad, in those 6 areas
The 6 areas/criteria being : Health care, Sexual violence, non sexual violence, discrimination, human trafficking & cultural traditions.
They have just asked the respondents to list 5 worst countries which they "think" fares worse with respect to these criteria. This is not a quantitative survey. Obviously this is done with oblique motives.

PPS: Here's a Times of India report(this is just one of the many national newspapers' who admonished TRF for attempting such a despicable scam) exposing them for their disgraceful deceit!.
